BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED: 2% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Had I told you the name "Dalton" and asked about who do you think had a good game for the Cowboys in Week 2, odds are you responded "Andy". Far from real, though. It was Shultz, TE Dalton Schultz, who thrived with starting tight end Balke Jarwin out injured this past Sunday. Seemingly nobody expected this to happen (that 2% rostership shows...) so Schultz went all the way under-the-radar while racking up fantasy points up to his final 21.8 good for TE6 through Sunday.
You read that right. All of a sudden, we have another weekly TE1 in our hands, folks. And that feels more likely than not to remain the same going forward if you ask me. The Cowboys feature three top-tier receivers in Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup. On top of that, RB Ezekiel Elliot is their RB. Do you expect defenses to pay any attention at all to the TE position? No, sir. That's why Schultz looks like an upside-monster in this attack.
Prescott targeted Schultz 10 times in Week 2 (he led the team) and Schultz paid him back catching nine passes for 88 yards and a score. He couldn't have done more with his chances, outscoring every other skill-position player from Dallas. Jarwin was placed on Injured Reserve last week, Schultz will keep racking up snaps, targets, and fantasy points for the time being. No questions asked, nor need for more reasons to be added here on why you should run and add him to your roster asap.
