Daily Fantasy Football Picks and Advice - DraftKings Lineups and Sleepers: Week 13 NFL DFS

Welcome to the Week 13 edition of Daily Fantasy Football DraftKings targets. An introduction is not really all that necessary, as the title of this DFS article pretty much sums up what is going to be discussed.

It's important to identify players with good matchups, but we also want to look at their DraftKings prices so we can hopefully find low-cost / high-production players for your lineups.

I will be providing one top DFS play and one DFS value play at each position for Week 13 NFL DraftKings action. Let's get down to it.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks for Week 13

Tom Brady (vs PHI, $8,000)

This week is not a week to get fancy and attempt to find a cheap quarterback. There are plenty of value plays at the other three positions, so spend up on the quarterback position this week. Tom Brady gets a great matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, who are just allowing teams to do whatever they want against them offensively. Brady did not take the loss to the Denver Broncos very well, and he will come out firing this week against the Eagles. This game could easily get out of hand, but the Patriots tend to push their opponent's face into the ground after they have them down. Brady should easily be able to score over 30 fantasy points even without any of his top receiving options looking likely to play.

Cam Newton (at NO, $7,400)

I know, really creative recommending the two most expensive quarterbacks on the board, right? Well, I told you that this is not the week to attempt to get fancy at this position. Cam Newton gets a matchup from heaven against the New Orleans Saints, and the Saints may be even worse than the Eagles against the pass. Newton has scored over 30 fantasy points in three of his last 10 games, and one of those three games was against the Saints. In that game, he threw the ball 31 times, completing 20 of those passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran the ball seven times for 33 yards and a touchdown. If the Saints keep this game close, which they won't, Newton could seriously score 40 plus fantasy points. Use him in tournaments, as the Panthers do not like to beat the opponent down after going up by 30.

DraftKings DFS Running Backs for Week 13

Adrian Peterson (vs SEA, $6,600)

What is going on with Adrian Peterson's price tag!? Let me get this straight, DraftKings. Peterson is priced at $7,300 last week. He rushes for over 150 yards and two touchdowns, totaling 35.7 fantasy points. DraftKings lowers his price to $6,600. How does this make any sense? In two of his last four games, Peterson has over 30 fantasy points, and in one of the two that he didn't score over 30, he posted 25.3. The Seattle Seahawks definitely have a solid defense against the run, but Peterson is basically matchup proof. He is much cheaper than both Devonta Freeman, who is questionable to return to action, and Todd Gurley. In fact, he is cheaper than Matt Forte (who makes for a solid tournament play this week). Use Peterson in any format, as he is far too cheap this week.

Alfred Morris (vs DAL, $3,700)

It looks like the Washington Redskins are starting to rely a little more on Alfred Morris, as Matt Jones has just not been getting the job done. Against the New York Giants, he ran the ball 23 times for 78 yards. That is not that impressive, but it is a great sign for Morris because Jay Gruden is finally letting him touch the ball. If you actually watched the game, Morris looked solid between the tackles, and he should be able to continue that success this week against the porous Dallas Cowboys' rush defense. Morris' price tag is extremely cheap, but for good reason. If he finds the end zone, and the Washington Redskins allow him to carry the ball enough times this week, he should crush value. However, that is two big 'ifs'. Do not use him in 50/50 contests. Only use him in tournaments.

DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers for Week 13

Antonio Brown (vs IND, $8,600)

Antonio Brown did not look like the Antonio Brown we all know and love last week against the Seattle Seahawks. Richard Sherman just had the Pittsburgh Steelers number, but Brown should be back to 10 plus receptions this week against the Indianapolis Colts. As long as Ben Rothelisberger is playing, Brown is one of the most explosive wide receivers in fantasy football. Out of the big four (Julio Jones, Odell Beckham Jr., DeAndre Hopkins, and Antonio Brown), Brown is the cheapest, which is why I'll be using him this week. All the big four get great matchups, but Brown has the most upside and the lowest price tag. I trust Brown in 50/50 contests, and he can score over 40 fantasy points any time he takes the field, so he can also be used in tournaments.

Brandon LaFell (vs PHI, $4,800)

Who do the New England Patriots have left? Brandon LaFell has not been great so far this season, but he is going to be a focal point of the Patriots' offense, as both Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski are not going to play this week and Danny Amendola's status is still in the air. I could probably get open against the Philadelphia Eagles' defense, so Brandon LaFell should be able to run free the entire game. Tom Brady is going to find him, and with at least four passing touchdowns this week for the Patriots (a low-ball prediction, if you ask me), LaFell should find the end zone at least once. His price tag is very low, and the Patriots offense is very powerful. Use him in any format.

DraftKings DFS Tight Ends for Week 13

Delanie Walker (vs JAX, $5,700)

Delanie Walker has been one of the most consistent tight ends in the league so far this season. He has 59 receptions for over 700 yards and three touchdowns. He does not find the end zone all that often, but he catches so many balls that it really does not matter. He has six or more receptions in three of his last four games, and he also has over 20 fantasy points in two of his last four games. Against the New Orleans Saints, he actually scored 30.1 fantasy points, which is pretty ridiculous for a tight end. He has a high floor and a high ceiling, and you can't really ask for much more out of a tight end. Use him over Jordan Reed this week, as the Dallas Cowboys actually defend the tight end rather well.

Scott Chandler (vs PHI, $2,500)

Scott Chandler is going to fill in for Rob Gronkowski this week. He should probably be owned at a higher percentage than "The Gronk" this week because of his price tag. There is absolutely no reason to avoid Chandler, as long as Gronkowski does not make a miracle return. Brady loves to throw to the tight end, and Chandler is going to have to step up. Last game, he had five receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown against the Denver Broncos. Use him in any format, as his price tag will allow you to get some of the better, more expensive options on the board.
