BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 51% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Cam Newton is so good it's barely believable, and we can only thank the Panthers for handing him another chance (read: deal) to man Carolina's offense ROS after parting ways with him just a handful of months ago. No collusion is attached to GMs when it comes to Cam's name, and I'm relieved that's the case. Also, what a fantasy stud we've found here coming out of the blue right in the middle of the season.
Newton, still available in half of Yahoo leagues (rush to your WW and land him, then come back and read if you want), did all of completing 3-of-4 passes back in W10 for a measly 8 yards... and 1 TD to go with 14 extra-yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. LOL. That's Cam for you, folks: 11.7 FP and a QB17 finish without doing basically a single freaking thing back then in his first game back from the long time hiatus.
In his first proper start last Sunday facing Washington, Newton delivered the fresh goodies: 21-of-27 passing, 189 yards, 2 passing TDs... and another one rushing on a 10-carry, 46-yard outing on the ground. Seriously, this is the craziest WW pick at this point of the season and you should have all of zero doubts about scoring yourself shares of this man no matter the format you play at.
