BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 12% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: I'm glad I rooted for Amon-Ra St. Brown from day one. I feel vindicated. QB Jared Goff has been as bad as ever, yes, but somehow Amon-Ra has stayed above water more often than not. ASB is putting up numbers weekly and has surely approached his rookie-ceiling of late with a few explosions in the second half of the season. After giving him a healthy amount of looks in the early season to then forget about him, Goff is back at targeting St. Brown and that's definitely paid off for both.
ASB has logged 12 targets on back-to-back games. He went on to catch 10 of those in W13 and he grabbed 8 last Sunday against Denver. He put up 86 and 73 receiving yards respectively and hauled in one for a touchdown a couple of weeks ago. Of course, fantasy GMs are hella scared of rostering/playing any living breathing Lion, but that's the only reason to find St. Brown still available in almost nine of every 10 Yahoo fantasy leagues... Don't buy into that fear; it's fake.
Amon-Ra scored 24.8 PPR points in Week 13 and although that tally went down to 15.3 FP last weekend, it was still good for a WR2-realm finish from the rook. No other Lion got more than 5 targets last Sunday, or 8 two games ago (TE T.J. Hockenson), so ASB's WR1 role is crystal clear to my eyes. Not the highest upside given the QB situation, but definitely a WW target to the roster and start weekly in slightly deep leagues (favor the PPR format) if only because of the bulky role and usage/opportunity rate.
