BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 4% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: After missing Week 13 injured, Allen Lazard came back this past Sunday to take the field for the Packers against division-rival Chicago... and he couldn't have had a better return. Lazard had never dropped from playing at least 59% of the team's offensive snaps while topping at 91% back in Week 7... and he was healthy and important enough to reach a solid 82% snap share in his W14 comeback to finish as the seventh-best player at the position in PPR formats.
That's correct. Week 14 marked the best game of Lazard's short-circuited season as he went on to put up a massive 20.9 PPR score that (pending MNF) had him looking as the WR7 of the week. Lazard did it by scoring his fourth TD of the year and pairing that with an almost perfect 7-6-75 receiving line that saw him post season-high numbers in all receptions, targets, and yards. Not bad for a comeback game, was it?
Lazard is just too important for Green Bay. Other than Davante Adams, no other WR/TE in the Pack is as good as Lazard, for the good or for the bad. The opportunities and touches will keep coming his way no matter what. Lazard is probably not going to hit 20+ PPR points on a weekly basis ROS, of course, but he should be good for an average of 10+ fantasy points in PPR formats if he keeps getting some 3/4 targets at minimum per game. Take advantage of the low rostership while it lasts (it's only ground-level low because he missed last weekend, so it won't stay there for long).
