Patrick Reed comes into The American Express off a top-15 finish at the Sentry Tournament of Champions a couple weeks back. Now, Reed returns to a place where he missed the cut last season. The American Express is not a normal stop for Reed on his PGA Tour schedule, playing last season for the first time since 2018, when he also missed the cut. Reed's last made cut at the event came in 2017, where he finished T12. This season, Reed has struggled in many of the key stats for this week. Reed sits 220th in strokes gained off the tee, 218th in proximity to the hole, and T128th in par 4 scoring average. With his stats, and history at the event, better options can be found this week.--Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
