BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 3% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Emmanuel Sanders was forced out of Sunday's affair with Tampa Bay just 25 snaps into the game, and Gabriel Davis was the next man-up boy in the Bills offense. And oh, boy, did he deliver the goodies taking on that WR2 role behind Stefon Diggs. Forget about what took place in Week 13 if you considered that performance a one-off outlier coming on a random day on ridiculously low volume. Davis is for real, folks.
Gabriel Davis topped 44 snaps and a 52% snap share for the first time this season last Sunday in Tampa. He got to play 65 offensive snaps for a sky-high 83% snap share. It was going to be hard to watch Davis putting up another 4-2-30-1 line (W13) for 11 PPR points on a similar playing time/usage rate (16 snaps, 28% share). Turns out Davis can keep up with his exploits on a rather bulkier dose of plays. Davis finished Week 14 with a solid 8-5-43-1 receiving outcome for a season-high 15.3 fantasy points.
Davis has been a season-log WR3 for Buffalo. With Sanders out, though, he's a lock to take on WR2 duties as those 8 targets from last Sunday proved. When targeted 3+ times, Davis is averaging 10.9 FPPG while scoring 4 TDs on four of his seven games. He's scored 11+ PPR points in five of those seven games, and he's coming off back-to-back top-30 WR finishes. Whether Sanders is back soon or not, Davis is a must-add player in the deepest formats with upside for low-end WR2/WR3 production ROS worth of an add on less deep (12+ Teams) leagues.
