Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski registered his second consecutive two-point performance on Saturday, finishing a 3-2 loss to Vegas with a pair of assists. Fellow blue-liner Jake Bean also had two assists as the team blew a 2-0 lead. Gustav Nyquist opened the scoring with just 45 seconds played and Alexandre Texier tallied a short-handed goal. Werenski is a real workhorse for Columbus and averages 26:32 per game. He played nearly 27 minutes on Saturday night and added a team-high six shots to his points with three blocks, two hits and two penalty minutes.
