Mac Jones (QB, NE)- Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups

Mac Jones is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for quarterbacks. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 11 of the 2021 NFL season.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

ROSTERED IN: 28% of Leagues

ANALYSIS: We needed to reach double-digit weeks, but finally, once for all, there seems to be a consensus about Mac Jones being a more than viable player at the quarterback position. Yes, there have been growing pains, but this man is a rookie doing it for a team that has little to nothing to do with the teams led by the GOAT not long ago. The interceptions have been there, and so have the fumbles, but all things considered, we're talking about a top-24 quarterback more than good to stream in most leagues and start weekly in deeper/Superflex/2QB formats.

Jones is coming off his second-best game of the season in the fantasy realm, but perhaps his actual/real-life best outing to date. Mac put up 19.9 FP against the Browns this past Sunday completing 19 of his 23 pass attempts for 198 yards while scoring 3 TDs against no interceptions at all. The other (better) superb performance, Jones put up in W7 when he went 36-24-307-2-0 against the lowly Jets.

While Jones is far from a scrambling quarterback, he's more than made up to it with his passing. Yes, the interceptions were horrid in the W3-W6 span with six in those four games, but before and after that (six-game span, combined) Jones only threw one pick (against Carolina in W9). Jones is averaging a "low" 14.2 FPPG, sure, but he's also doing so with one of the smallest standard deviations from one week to the next one with a season-long volatility of just 4.8 FP. Not the highest of ceilings, but not the lowest of floors either for a man that is probably overlooked more than he should.

Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups - Tyjae Spears, Kyle Monangai, Miles Sanders Fantasy Football Outlooks

Week 5 offers fantasy managers a mix of opportunities and caution at the running back position. Identifying who to target—and who to avoid—is key as bye weeks begin to impact lineups. The […]
