Rhamondre Stevenson is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 11 of the 2021 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 31% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Not that long ago, and even with Sony Michel already part of the Los Angeles Rams squad, tons (if not all) of fantasy GMs were hesitant of rostering--let alone starting--RB Rhamondre Stevenson of your New England Patriots. Truth be told, it made sense back then. Stevenson only appeared on five snaps in Week 1 and logged a putrid 1-rush, 1-target, 11-scrimmage yard performance... while fumbling the ball. Good for him and for his truthers, though, that has absolutely changed of late.
While Stevenson's Week 5 outing wasn't anything to call home proud of (2.3 FP after 11 caries for 23 yards), the truth is that Stevenson's luck (or pro-development) changed for the better in Week 6 and from that point on. The rookie rusher carried the ball only five times back then against the Cowboys but was able to get himself a TD (on top of 23 yards) while also going 3-for-3 on receptions for 39 yards through the air. He proceeded to put up a stinker (4.0 PPR points) in Week 8 coming off the back, but his next two games were sublime.
Stevenson reached 62 yards (more than 25 for the first time this season) back in Week 9 while logging 10 rush attempts and another perfect 2-for-2 pass-catching performance (for a season-high 44 yards this time). 12.6 PPR was the final tally. And now, Stevenson is coming off an RB5 game in which he dumped 27.4 PPR points on Cleveland thanks to a phenomenal 20-rush, 100-yard, two-touchdown rushing outing to go with 4 receptions for 14 yards on top of that. Stevenson is still available in two of every three Yahoo leagues and given his late results that's a bargain of a deal--free WW price in exchange for a weekly RB2 ROS is the usage stays the same (which is more than probable as he's topped a 35% snap share just once this season).
