Kyle Freeland Wins Seventh Game Of The Year
Kyle Freeland earned the win on Tuesday when he allowed one run on six hits with four walks and three strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings in a 3-1 win over the Nationals. Freeland was able to hold the Nationals' offense down despite issuing four free passes. He wasn't at his most efficient but he only allowed one run, courtesy of a bases-loaded walk to Lane Thomas. He now owns a 4.33 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and 105:38 K/BB ratio over 120 2/3 innings (23 starts). He should finish off the Rockies season on Sunday with a road start against the D-Backs.
