Will Blaney win? That does seem unlikely. Will he contend? That is more likely for the Team Penske driver. Blaney got better and better as the first three races of the chase went on. That culminated in a fourth-place result and 45 laps lead at Bristol. Blaney has an average finish of 8.57 at Las Vegas the past three seasons.
