New York Yankees prospect Anthony Volpe had the best game of his young career on Thursday when he went 4-for-5 during the first game of a double-header. The 20-year-old shortstop also hit his second home run of the season and added his eighth double. After going 0-for-4 in the follow-up contest, Volpe is now hitting .273 through 18 games and has a 142 wRC+. He's shown an elite approach at the plate with a BB-K of 17-14 and he's been a massive threat on the base paths with 10 steals in 11 attempts. Selected 30th overall out of high school during the 2019 draft, Volpe is showing why he was a highly-sought-after amateur prospect and could end up being a massive steal for the Yankees if he continues to develop his power.--Marc Hulet - RotoBallerRead More News
