Petr Yan (15-2) suffered his first loss in the UFC and lost his bantamweight championship in one of the most bizarre championship fight endings in the sport's history. In the fourth round, Yan struck Sterling with an illegal knee. Though he was up on the majority of scorecards, the referee ruled the shot intentional, and thus, Sterling was crowned the new champion via disqualification. Statistically, Yan landed a solid seven out of his seven attempted takedown tries and stuffed 16 of Sterling's 17 attempts. With the odd fashion of how this title fight ended, it would not be a surprise to see these two run this one back soon.--Matt Bricker
