Buffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel recorded his 15th assist of the season in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders, adding three shots and one hit. He combined with Brandon Montour to set up Jacob Bryson for his first career goal. Sam Reinhart finished the scoring for the Sabres, who took their sixth consecutive loss. Times are tough in Buffalo right now and Eichel isn't doing great either this season with his two goals being a major disappointment. He carries a measly 3.3 shooting percentage, which is well below his career average of 10.5. Things should improve for Eichel in front of the goal during the season, but the team is playing some awful hockey at the moment and their losing skid could easily hit double figures with a week against Philadelphia and Pittsburgh coming up.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
