Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack (back) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday, but head coach Matt Nagy said Mack was held out as a precaution and is expected to play in Week 13 against the Lions. The 29-year-old pass-rusher should be ready to go if he can get in a limited practice on Friday. The five-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro has 6.5 sacks in 11 games this season, but he hasn't had a sack since Week 8 and hasn't had double-digit sacks since his first season in Chicago in 2018. Mack is no longer a trustworthy IDP starter, but Chicago will need him if they hope to improve their pass rush to close the season. The Source: NFL.com
