Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander (forearm) "is not progressing as quickly as he would like to" according to manager Dusty Baker. Verlander was placed on the injured list following his first start of the season and the initial reports indicated he would be out for the season. He denied those reports, though it seems like rest is not doing his arm some good as of right now. Cristian Javier should be rostered on teams, as it seems like he'll be in the rotation for the long haul.--Tim Capurso
