MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said on Monday that he's "not confident" that there will be a 2020 baseball season and that "as long as there's no dialogue" with the Players Association, "that real risk is going to continue." Manfred said "unequivocally we are going to play Major League Baseball this year" and estimated the likelihood at "100%" just last week. "It's just a disaster for our game, absolutely no question about it," Manfred said. The players rejected the league's latest 72-game proposal with 70 percent of players' prorated salaries over the weekend, as they are dead set on receiving their full prorated amount. If a season does happen in 2020, it'll likely be a 50-game season mandated by Manfred.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
