FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/19/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Due to the NFL Conference Championships, the NBA has only two games scheduled to close out the weekend after a massive 11-game slate on Saturday. In regards to injuries, Justise Winslow, Gary Harris, Jamal Murray, and Paul Millsap are all confirmed out on Sunday. Tyler Herro, Dejounte Murray, and Jeremy Lamb are questionable, while Rudy Gay has been labeled as doubtful.

Miami at San Antonio leads the way from a Vegas standpoint and currently has a projected overall score of 221 points, with the Heat giving just one to the Spurs. Indiana at Denver is expected to total 10 points less, with the Nuggets giving two to the Pacers. Also, keep in mind that all four clubs will be playing on Monday as each team begins the first of back-to-back outings.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/19/20. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @Den_Clausen. Good luck.

FanDuel DFS Guards

DeMar DeRozan - SG, vs. MIA ($8,700)

DeRozan continues to be a popular subject of trade talks as of late and will be up against a Heat team that has reportedly expressed interest in acquiring his services. While this will undoubtedly shake up things in the Eastern Conference, he continues to play well while in a Spurs uniform. In his last 10 games, the 4x All-Star has put up 28.1 points per game. He has also gotten hot from behind the arc during that span, draining 42.9 percent of his shots after averaging a miserable 28.4 percent from deep throughout his career.

Malcolm Brogdon - PG, @ DEN ($6,800)

Brogdon is easily the most reliable option at the one on this abbreviated two-game slate. He came up with a huge late tiebreaking shot against the Timberwolves a few nights ago and is starting to return to form after missing some time with a back injury as well as strep throat. He has hit at least 30.8 fantasy points in each of his last three games and will benefit from the defensive inefficiency of both Monte Morris and Torrey Craig.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Domantas Sabonis - PF, @ DEN ($9,400)

Sabonis didn't have his best outing after posting only eight points in 25 minutes of action against Minnesota on Friday. Foul trouble and turnovers were the theme for him in that one, but he should be back on track against the Nuggets on Sunday night, primarily with Jerami Grant, who weighs 40 pounds less while also giving up nearly four inches in height, defending him.

Will Barton - SF, vs. IND ($6,600)

Barton went off against the Warriors on Thursday night, finishing things up with 31 points. He also added seven assists and five rebounds. With Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap, and Gary Harris out of the equation on Sunday, the 29-year-old will receive a sizable boost in both plus/minus and usage.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, vs. IND ($10,000)

Pinch your pennies accordingly because you will definitely want Jokic in your lineup. Just like in Will Barton's case, Joker should also see a noticeable improvement in fantasy production with the aforementioned absences of several of the Nuggets' key offensive personnel. While Myles Turner has been known for his shot-blocking prowess over the years, he lacks on the defensive end overall and is allowing 0.7 fantasy points per minute to opposing big men on the year.

Myles Turner - C, @ DEN ($6,000)

If you aren't able to afford Nikola Jokic, consider Turner. He will be the biggest beneficiary if Jeremy Lamb isn't able to suit up after suffering a bruised hip, gaining a 2.9 percent improvement in usage while gaining a +5.7 differential in plus/minus. Jokic is also allowing 0.7 fantasy points per minute to this position on the year, making Turner a practical choice at a lower price, but not without risk.
