Buffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel registered a pair of goals and two assists in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime victory over the visiting San Jose Sharks. The 22-year-old had a hand in all four of Buffalo's goals in the contest, including the game-winner on a rebound opportunity just over three minutes into the extra frame. In addition, Eichel finished the night with a plus-two rating, two penalty minutes and a game-high six shots on goal in 21:55 of time on ice in the contest. Despite posting a career-best 82 points last season, the Massachusetts native seems to be experiencing a true breakout with 14 points (six goals, eight assists), seven power-play points and 35 shots through his initial 10 games. The Sabres' captain looks determined to get his team back into the playoffs in 2019-2020 and may flirt with the NHL scoring lead in the process. He'll take on the Rangers on Thursday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
