The Green Bay Packers defense was largely able to hold New England’s offense in check for most of the game in Week 9. They did not force any turnovers and struggled with bringing pressure but their coverage was excellent. Minus an embarrassing sequence where they seemingly had no answer for New England Patriot Cordarelle Patterson at running back, they were largely keeping Green Bay in the game. However, things feel apart as they surrendered two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Green Bay played aggressively on defense and it cost them on several trick plays later in the game. It was on plays like these that they most missed former safety HaHa Clinton-Dix. Green Bay’s DST is a streaming option at best and they were not expected to play very well against the New England Patriots. Their prospects next week against the Miami Dolphins seems much more promising, although Miami’s speed could give Green Bay’s secondary trouble.--Tyger McGuigganRead More News
