DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (10/18/16): MLB DFS Advice

The final postseason contests prior to the World Series are well underway. The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers are locked in a tight battle, as are the Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays. It'll be interesting to see how these two series shape up.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/18/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on Fantasy Aces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NFL (or NBA) Premium Pass for free, a $59.99 value. Just email [email protected] with your new FantasyAces username - and boom, that's it! We will email you with your Premium pass.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Cleveland Indians vs Aaron Sanchez

Sanchez has enjoyed a great season, but he is arguably the weakest pitcher on the slate. The Indians have a dominant offense, and they can score runs against anyone. Cleveland has looked great this season, and they can be stacked in all leagues.

Also Consider: Chicago Cubs vs Rich Hill

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Jake Arrieta ($10,800)

Arrieta has been an elite pitcher this season, and he's a -115 favorite in a game set at only 6.5 runs today. He has elite upside against anyone, and Arrieta threw well against the Dodgers in their only start this season. He can be used in all leagues.

Rich Hill ($9,200)

Hill can be used solely because of his price tag. He is a great pitcher, and while the Cubs do have upside as a stack, so does Rich Hill. He's a small underdog, but the game is set at only 6.5 runs. He's a great GPP option.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C) - Willson Contreras ($3,800)

Contreras has been enjoying a great postseason, and he's hitting over .500 in his last 10 games. He gets a matchup against Rich Hill, and Contreras is the type of player that can be used against anyone. The Cubs have a ton of upside as an offense, and Contreras can safely be used in all leagues.

First Base (1B) - Carlos Santana ($4,200)

Santana is the leadoff hitter for the Indians, which puts him in an interesting spot. He is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games, and he gets a good matchup against Sanchez tonight. The Indians are the top offense, and it will start with Santana. He can be used in all leagues.

Second Base (2B) - Javier Baez ($4,500)

Baez had a solid season, but he has been arguably the best hitter in the postseason for the Cubs. He gets a solid matchup against Rich Hill, and Baez is a safe player with a ton of upside. He isn't going to come cheap, but there aren't many good second base options on the slate, and Baez can be used in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS) - Francisco Lindor ($4,100)

Lindor has been playing extremely well for the Indians, as he's hitting over .300 in his last 10 games. He has displayed good power over that span, and he gets a good matchup against Aaron Sanchez. Lindor has been an elite hitter the entire season, and he can be used in all leagues today.

Third Base (3B) - Josh Donaldson ($5,100)

Donaldson has been an elite hitter this postseason, as he's hitting over .350 with elite power over his last 10 games. He gets a tough matchup against Corey Kluber, but Donaldson has been able to dominate everyone. He can be used in all leagues because of the small slate.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Kris Bryant ($4,600)

Bryant hasn't been a dominant hitter this postseason, but he does come with elite upside. He gets a good matchup against Rich Hill, who has looked good this season. He is best suited for GPPs, though, as he has struggled a bit recently.

Joc Pederson ($3,600)

Pederson is another hitter that is far from consistent, but he comes with elite upside. He is a young player with a ton of power and speed, and he isn't all that expensive. He gets a tough matchup against Jake Arrieta, but Pederson can be used in tournaments.
