In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 8/23/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. Well, let's get down to it!

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Arizona Diamondbacks - The Diamondbacks have a potent offense when they are playing at home. Tonight, they get a great matchup against Rob Whalen, who has struggled for the most part this season. The Diamondbacks are -160 favorites in a game set at 9.5 runs, and they are an elite stacking option tonight.

Toronto Blue Jays - The Blue Jays can be stacked whenever they are playing against a left-handed pitcher at home. That's the case tonight, as they get a great matchup against Tyler Skaggs. Toronto is a -165 favorite in a game set at 9.5 runs, and they can be stacked in all leagues.

Texas Rangers - The Rangers get somewhat of a tough matchup against Dan Straily, who has been throwing well this season. With that being said, they are an extremely powerful offense, and they will be playing in a hitter friendly stadium. Texas is a -113 favorite in a game set at 9 runs, and they are a high upside stacking option tonight.

 

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Jake Arrieta - Arrieta has been enjoying an elite season, although some people may have been expecting more in terms of fantasy from him. He gets an elite matchup against the Padres in Petco Park tonight, though, and he's a -245 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs. He's a safe play in all leagues tonight.

Chris Archer - Archer has been the tale of two pitchers this season. He is elite at home, but struggles on the road. Luckily, he'll be throwing at home tonight, where he has a 2.66 ERA on the season. He gets a terrible matchup against the Red Sox, though, and Archer is a -110 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. He's best suited for GPPs.

 

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Gary Sanchez - Sanchez has been as hot as any hitter in the MLB recently, as he's hitting over .400 with great power over his last 10 games. He gets a matchup against Iwakuma tonight, and Sanchez has been playing well enough for all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Paul Goldschmidt - Goldschmidt has been playing well recently, as he's hitting over .300 in his last 10 games. He hasn't displayed much power, but he has displayed elite speed for a first baseman. He gets a great matchup against Whalen, and he can be used in all leagues.

Second Base (2B)

Trea Turner - It's amazing that Turner isn't the most expensive second baseman on the slate. He has looked dominant since joining the Nationals, and he has elite fantasy potential. He gets a good matchup against Gausman, and Turner can be used in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Chris Owings - Owings has been playing well for the Diamondbacks recently. He is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games, and Owings gets a great matchup against Whalen tonight. He isn't all that expensive, and he's a great option in all leagues because of his recent play.

Third Base (3B)

Wilmer Flores - Flores hasn't been having an elite season, but he has dominated left-handed pitching. He's hitting well over .300 against lefties, and he gets a great matchup against Garcia. Flores has also been playing well recently, and he can be used in all leagues in this matchup.

 

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

David Dahl - Dahl isn't hitting for the highest average over his last 10 games, but he has been a consistent fantasy option with great upside. He gets a good matchup against Anderson in a hitter friendly stadium, and Dahl can be used in all leagues tonight.

Mitch Haniger - Haniger has been a bit of a mixed bag since joining the Diamondbacks, but he has flashed great upside. He gets a good matchup against Whalen, and Haniger has a good combination of speed and power. He's best suited for GPPs, though.

Andrew Benintendi - Benintendi has looked elite since joining the Red Sox. He is a consistent option with great upside, as well. He's surprisingly cheap, but he does get a tough matchup against Archer. Benintendi is an elite GPP option for his low price tag.
