ANALYSIS: Chris Carter has gone yard again today... twice. He's also sprinkled in 5 RBIs, and it's only the 5th inning! This man is white hot, and on an absolute tear, making him the most recent addition to our waiver wire sleepers list, and a must-add in all fantasy baseball leagues right now if he is still available. Given that he's already 67% owned in Yahoo leagues, time may be running out, but he's still widely available, so get on it. This power-hitting, home run binging slugger may not be around for much longer.

Let's take a look at what he's done recently, in case you aren't following his ridiculous stretch: including today, he has at least 1 home run in 5 out of his last 10 games, including 2 multi-home run games. Over the last 32 games, he has 15 dingers, including 4 multi-home run games. Not including tonight's bonkers performance, he's already ranked #3 overall in Yahoo over the last 30 days, #6 over the last 14 days, and #5 over the last 7 days. And he's hitting for average too. Over the last 14 days (not including today), Carter has racked up 5 HR, 12 RBI, 11 Runs, 1 SB and a .313 AVG. I can keep going on here with the stats, but I think you get the point I'm trying to make. This guy is absolutely tearing the cover off the ball, and is mashing like a possessed man.

Carter probably won't keep up this torrid pace for the remainder of the season, but you never know. One thing's for sure, he is absolutely locked in, and doesn't seem to be slowing down. So if you haven't been riding the hot streak, it's time to jump on board. This type of production isn't easy to come across off the waiver wire, especially this time of year, and if Carter keeps it up he can be a major boost to your fantasy baseball home stretches and championship runs.
