Week 17 Fanduel Sleepers & Player Picks: Going Bonkers

Here we are RotoBallers in the dreaded and feared Week 17 of fantasy football action.  By this time, most of us have either hoisted our trophies in victory, or lamented the night away, and dissected our draft day roster for possible faux pas never to commit again.  Regardless of what side of the coin you were on for the 2013 season, there is still another week of regularly scheduled NFL games for your fantasy football pleasure and in comes Fanduel to fill that void in your gaming life!  Do you know more than the rest (as evidenced by your slightly more swollen bank account and Yahoo Fantasy profile) or just want to enjoy that magic of drafting a new team one more time this season?  Then we have a few sleeper picks for Fanduel that we are confident are Bound To Go Bonkers and finish off that 2013 season with some swagger and a few extra shekels!

Editor’s Note: For those of you RotoBallers looking for the ultimate edge over your competition week after week, you can get an even deeper exclusive analysis of what specific QBs, RBs and RBs we recommend for you to start in your Fanduel lineups each Saturday by signing up to receive the best daily league lineup emailed to you.

And now without further ado, we bring you our top Fanduel picks heading into Week 17:

Bound To Go Bonkers in Week 17

4 Fantasy Football Sleepers For Fanduel

(RB) - Fred Jackson $6,300 - With the reliable ground game approach that the Buffalo Bills have employed this season, Steady Freddie Jackson has been our RotoBaller go to guy in a lot of weeks where value, with high upside, was being sought after.  Facing off with the division rival Patriots, it is very likely that the Bills will be seeing a slightly "softer" New England Patriots defense (at least for a portion of the game) in anticipation for the playoff run they are heading into, so in a week were a lot of running backs are at risk of losing time due to rest, this man will be "all systems go" and ready for war come kickoff time.  Get him in as an RB2 and make some return on investment with Fast Freddie!

(RB) - Matt Asiata $5,800 - Let's keep this simple and to the point since it's Week 17 and we've been at this for a while.  Matt Asiata is 100% Bound To Go Bonkers against the Detroit Lions since he has now been upgraded to the starting running back for the Vikings to close out the season at home against the Detroit Lions.  With "All Day" Adrian Peterson listed as probable and Toby "The Sledgehammer" Gerhart out with a bum hammy, this improbable little guy is going to get quite the workload against a fairly stout Lions run defense.  Workload is the key to success in fantasy football, and low price tags are the key to daily leagues, so since Matt Asiata possesses both virtues in slight abundance heading into Week 17, we are imploring you to get him into your mix one way  or another.

(WR) - Roddy White $5,900 - We don't give a flying fart if Roderick White is facing off against the shut down Panthers defense in Week 17, mostly because Carolina has already clinched a playoff berth, and White has been an absolute target monster beast of late!  There are fewer better or more reliable options heading into a very unpredictable Week 17 of NFL action, so just the fact that we can count on a very robust snap count titillates us to no end.  Add his jalopy price tag and home confines and we are just all kinds of excited for this super sleeper wide receiver for Week 17 of Fanduel action.

(WR) - T.Y. Hilton $5,200 - For Week 17, it's ya boy T.Y. making his cameo appearance and looking for some fantasy football redemption to cap off the season.  Going up against the rather stinky Jacksonville Jaguars, there is a good chance that the lesser of 3 Hiltons (Paris Hilton, Nikki Hilton, T.Y. Hilton) will go bonkers at home as the Colts play their final tuneup run before the playoffs.  With just 72 receiving yards needed to break 1,000 on the year, we believe the he will be the focus of the passing game early and often as Andrew Luck helps get that statistical monkey off of Hilton's back.  For that cheap of a price and a juicy matchup at home, we absolutely love T.Y. to make you look like a Fanduel superstar in Week 17.

As a special added bonus, you will also receive a complimentary copy of our newsletter every week for the remainder of the 2013 fantasy football season. Take a look at an excerpt from the Week 16 newsletter, which featured the likes of Colin Kaepernick (22.98 Fanduel Points) or Pierre Garcon (25.9 Fanduel Points), (See for yourself how this all works and get a taste of the expert advice we are dishing out to help you win big!

QB (Strong) – Colin Kaepernick $7,900 – Even if is this putrid excuse for a QB1 option is almost completely useless in standard fantasy formats, the former Nevada star will almost surely tear up the Falcons in this featured Week 16 matchup.  In the last game to be played at Candlestick Park, we expect big things to come out of the once must-start option, and it mostly revolves around Atlanta’s bottom-of-the-barrel overall defense.  Colin scored 20+ FanDuel points last week, and we fully expect him to meet or eclipse that total on Sunday, as long as the game is kept in hand and the starters remain viable fantasy contributors, so get this man into your starting QB slot for Week 16 and reap the rewards.

WR (Strong) – Pierre Garcon $7,300 – Let’s get a little arrogant for a moment pat ourselves on the back for imploring you to run out Pierre Garcon last week.  Well, we are again in love with his matchup for Week 16 as he and your Cousin(s) are fixin’ to tear up the Cowboys defense at home.  After putting up 22.4 FanDuel points with Robert Blooper The Third’s replacement, we are thinking “repeat performance” against the league’s worst-ranked defense coming into Week 16.  Without very much to play for and a young gun-slingin’ QB at the wheel, we expect Pierre Garcon to run wild on Dallas’s secondary and make you look like a fantasy superstar for picking this sleeper stud.
