Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Braelon Allen, New York Jets
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen could see a significant uptick in touches if running back Breece Hall (thigh) misses time. Allen had four carries for 14 yards and one reception for three yards in the 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Hall was injured with just under 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter and was ruled out with a thigh injury. He said postgame, "I don't know (the severity) yet. I felt something when I was running and then got tackled and planted and then felt something else, so we'll see."
If Hall misses time, Allen and Isaiah Davis should be the primary beneficiaries, with Allen as the main handcuff. Fantasy managers should monitor Hall's status throughout the week and keep tabs on Allen if he is available on the waiver wire. Allen would hold borderline RB2 upside if Hall cannot suit up on Sunday.
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has become one of the top Week 4 waiver targets after Travis Etienne Jr. aggravated his hamstring in Sunday's 35-27 loss to Las Vegas. Kamara rushed nine times for 36 yards and caught his only target for five yards, while Etienne handled 13 carries for 57 yards before leaving.
The backfield was already more crowded than it looked a week ago, with Kendre Miller active again and picking up six touches for 19 total yards. Still, Kamara is the name to prioritize if Etienne misses time.
He returned from an MCL sprain in Week 2 and immediately handled nine carries while catching five of six targets. RotoBaller has Kamara rostered in 43% of leagues and lists him among its top Week 4 running back waiver priorities. That makes him a priority add rather than a pure stash, with a path to immediate flex value if Etienne is sidelined.
Jaylen Waddle, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is "fine," a source told Sam Jane of The Denver Post. There was some speculation on social media about Waddle's health status after the team's Sunday night victory over the Los Angeles Rams. The 27-year-old was apparently seen wearing a walking boot in the clubhouse after Sunday night's game, but he should be just fine to play in Week 4 on the road against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Waddle played 73% of the offensive snaps against the Rams, but he had another disappointing performance for his fantasy managers, catching only two of his seven targets for 10 yards while adding a 14-yard run on an end-around. The former first-rounder by the Miami Dolphins from Alabama entered his first year in Denver with massive expectations after the Broncos sent a first-rounder to Miami for him in the offseason.
It did not start well with a one-catch, two-yard performance in the Week 1 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, but Waddle came back to catch eight passes for 138 yards in the Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite the frustration early on in 2026, fantasy managers need to keep the faith in the speedy receiver and leave him locked into starting lineups against the 49ers.
Kalif Raymond, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears wide receiver Kalif Raymond led the team with 91 receiving yards on six receptions in Week 3 against the Eagles, and the 10-year veteran from Holy Cross continues to get off to a fast start in his first season with the Bears. Raymond has caught 19 of 21 targets in his three games this season, and he has at least five catches and five targets in each game.
Raymond has shown big-play potential throughout his career as a kick returner, and now that he's in a more regularly involved role in the offense, he continues to bring a high ceiling. For as long as he stays in this role, Raymond will be a sleeper FLEX play in the Bears' high-scoring offense. For now, he carries viable FLEX upside in deeper PPR leagues heading into Week 4.
