Mitchell Robinson Might Not Return to Knicks

The Knicks don't have a ton of cap space, and the second apron salary cap threshold makes it difficult for teams to make moves. The biggest impending free agent for the Knicks is Robinson, so his return becomes cloudy. The assumption is that both the Knicks and Robinson want to come together on a multi-year deal. However, Robinson is likely seeking a significant payday, which the Knicks might not be able to match.
