The Sacramento Kings will work out Illinois guard Keaton Wagler next week, Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor reports. The visit lines up with Sacramento's need for a lead guard and its No. 7 pick, a range Wagler is expected to land in after ESPN and The Athletic slotted the consensus All-American around No. 5. The 6-foot-6 combo guard averaged 17.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists on strong efficiency while powering Illinois to its first Final Four in 21 years. For dynasty and rookie-draft managers, Wagler profiles as a high-floor bet: his shooting, feel, and playmaking should earn early minutes wherever he lands, with comparisons ranging from Ty Jerome to CJ McCollum. A thin frame and lack of burst cap the ceiling, but a guard-needy Sacramento would hand him a clear runway to production.--Brian Dailisan
