The Miami Dolphins took wide receiver Chris Bell with the 94th pick in this April's NFL Draft, providing a much-needed addition to the team's receiving corps. Bell stands at 6-foot-2 and 222 pounds, giving him a strong frame to ward off defenders. The third-round rookie is coming off a productive season, as he finished 2025 with 72 receptions for 917 yards and six touchdowns on a 26.6-percent target share. Unfortunately, his campaign was cut short by a November ACL tear that has jeopardized his availability for Week 1. Because Miami will not be competitive, they have no reason to rush Bell back to action. When he returns, though, he may have ample opportunities working with new quarterback Malik Willis. The Dolphins have a lackluster set of receivers led by Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, and Tutu Atwell. They also drafted another receiver, Caleb Douglas, in the third round shortly before Bell. Bell has gone as the WR85 in drafts, reflecting his value as a late-round flyer. Rolling the dice on him is unlikely to bear fruit any time soon but could pay dividends down the line. Still, Bell is best left on waivers for the time being as he recovers.--Hayden Epinette
