NFL Uniform Power Rankings: Every Team From Worst to First

Sam Darnold - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Quincy describes and ranks NFL uniforms from all 32 teams. From the historic Green Bay Packers to the bland Cleveland Browns, where does your favorite team land?

As fans of the NFL, we love every piece of the production brought to us on Sundays. Stadium antics, broadcasts, gameplay, and of course, the uniforms. Throughout the years, sports uniforms have become more elaborate and showy. They are meant to express the culture of the team, whether it be in the tradition of the Pittsburgh Steelers or the new age of the Los Angeles Rams. Every team's approach to its uniforms is different, which adds to the uniqueness of each fanbase.

Uniforms also allow fans to feel connected to a team by buying jerseys. An NFL game would not be complete without the sea of color in the audience, primarily made up of jerseys from the teams' best players.

Each season, at least a couple of teams make updates to their uniforms. However, 2026 brought a complete rebranding for a couple of franchises and subtle tweaks to several others. These tweaks always signal the dawn of a new age and are quite exciting for NFL fanbases. Let's take a moment to rank each uniform from worst to first.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings:

No. 32: Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns still bring up the rear for their bland uniforms. For a team that has enjoyed very little success in recent history, it feels like now is a great time to reset and debut a new set of uniforms.

No. 31: Denver Broncos

Until a couple of seasons ago, I would have considered the Broncos' uniforms to be among the league's best. However, their most recent update is a little off-putting. They have great helmets, but their removal of a lot of the blue striping on their pants and numbers has dulled their uniforms.

No. 30: Houston Texans

Even though they are a newer franchise, the Texans have not always had the best uniforms. In fact, until an update two seasons ago, it could be argued that the Texans had the worst uniforms in the NFL. Those recent updates modernized the Texans' look and made them more appealing. Still, there is something about the dark blue and bright red that does not quite work. Something feels like it is missing.

No. 29: New England Patriots

The Patriots' uniforms embody the United States. The name is reminiscent of the Revolutionary War, given its roots in New England. The red, white, and blue remind the fanbase that New England as a whole is where patriotism began.

No. 28: Buffalo Bills

The Bills find themselves lower on this list due to their use of an average color scheme. The light blue works fine in their uniforms, but it does not pop like some of the other, more modern-looking uniforms.

No. 27: New York Giants

The Giants continue to roll out a solid blend of blue and white in their uniforms. They are simple, yet historic. However, if you don’t do a lot of winning, it is tough to justify how cool a bland uniform really is. There are simply more attractive NFL uniforms out there right now.

No. 26: Chicago Bears

Chicago's uniforms are born in tradition as one of the NFL's oldest franchises. At this point, the Bears' uniforms are fairly boring, yet could you imagine Chicago ever making significant changes? They have a solid orange alternate, however.

No. 25: San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have solid uniforms, complete with a gold helmet on their home, away, and alternate uniforms. Their best uniform is their all-white alternates, which are often showcased during primetime games.

No. 24: Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals' uniforms fit their mascot quite well. However, there is nothing very special about them. Each of their uniforms is monotone, and their colors are not the most exciting. Overall, they do not make the upper-echelon on this list.

No. 23: Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers make use of a variety of blues, black, and whites in their uniforms. Their all-blue and all-black alternate uniforms are some of the best alternates in the NFL. As a newer franchise, this team surely knows how to roll out a solid uniform, and the team’s performance is finally starting to match.

No. 22: Atlanta Falcons

After pivoting hard from the red color scheme of old in recent years, the Falcons are headed right back in that direction this season. This team has reset itself from the front office to the coaching staff to the personnel. As such, it is no surprise that Atlanta finds itself with a hard uniform rebrand in 2026.

No. 21: Kansas City Chiefs

Despite their dominance in recent years, the Chiefs have average uniforms. The arrowhead on their helmet reminds everyone of who they are, but their red color scheme can be a bit overwhelming at times. They are not the worst in the league, but they are also not the best.

No. 20: Washington Commanders

The Commanders are moving away from a more modern uniform look as they attempt to recapture some of their throwback magic. Those RGIII-era and earlier jerseys were slick. This is a solid move for the team.

No. 19: New York Jets

After decades of deploying largely the same jerseys, the Jets made relatively major updates to their uniforms in recent seasons. They did away with the white shoulder pads on their home uniforms and switched to a more matte finish on their green color scheme. The jerseys are one of the few bright spots of a seemingly constantly flailing franchise.

No. 18: Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have solid uniforms. There is something about blue and white that blends extremely well together. The use of white pants both at home and away adds to the appeal. The color scheme works in a way that makes the players look fast.

No. 17: Los Angeles Rams

The vibrant Rams uniforms are perfect for Los Angeles. However, the St. Louis Rams uniforms were arguably better. Still, the gold and blue in the modern Rams uniforms work together solidly. Subtle tweaks to these uniforms for 2026 seem to have made them brighter.

No. 16: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Something about Tampa Bay's uniforms embodies "Buccaneers." The red-brown home uniforms scream "arghh." These are the types of uniforms that you either like or do not like. They are not as slick as other Florida teams' uniforms, but they have a lot more character than some of the more boring uniforms on this list.

No. 15: Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens have jumped up this list after shipping new updates to their uniforms in 2026. They will be rolling with a more matte-look this season as they attempt to move into a new era with head coach Jesse Minter.

No. 14: Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have kept with tradition for much of their existence. While there is not much to say about their jerseys or pants, the black tiger stripes on the Bengals' helmets prop them up on this list. They easily have the best helmets in the league because they utilize the entire helmet rather than just a logo on the side.

No. 13: Los Angeles Chargers

After moving to Los Angeles in 2017, the Chargers' uniforms received a facelift shortly thereafter. They ditched their dark blue color scheme for the powder blue uniforms they wore during their first stint in Los Angeles. While the update does not strike as much fear as their former darker colors, the uniforms are relatively aesthetically pleasing.

No. 12: Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys' white uniforms are synonymous with the team. Given that they choose to wear white at home while the rest of the league wears dark colors, it brings a brightness to a team that is no stranger to the spotlight. In fact, since the Cowboys wear white at home, they rarely wear their dark colors, which are frankly far less appealing than their white uniforms.

No. 11: Tennessee Titans

The Titans have jumped up this list for 2026 following a complete rebrand. Tennessee’s new uniforms now reflect their roots as the Houston Oilers. It will be exciting to watch this young team run around in its slick new look in 2026.

No. 10: Detroit Lions

The Lions have received very few updates to their uniforms throughout the years, but they boast a great look. The light blue in their uniforms works well with the silver and white. Additionally, their use of different pants for home and away games complements their jerseys very well.

No. 9: Philadelphia Eagles

The birds have a great color scheme to work with, and the team uses it well. Additionally, the Eagles boast an all-black alternate that makes the players look fast and dominant. Their light-green throwback uniforms are also some of the best throwbacks in the NFL.

No. 8: Miami Dolphins

Miami has fantastic uniforms. Similar to the next selection on this list, these uniforms embody the brightness of the Florida sun and remind fans of the beach. The blue-green and white color scheme is synonymous with the team. They also removed several unnecessary stripes from the shoulder pads and socks in recent seasons, which have streamlined the uniforms.

No. 7: Jacksonville Jaguars

As a newer franchise, the Jaguars have a fresh take on uniforms. They have worked to take a more slick approach to their uniforms in recent seasons, and that approach has worked. The uniforms embody the Jacksonville sun and pair well with a generally well-lit stadium.

No. 6: New Orleans Saints

Minimal changes have been made to the Saints' uniforms throughout the years, with the exception that they now use a less bright gold shade in their color scheme. These uniforms are simple, yet intimidating. The home uniforms use a matte black color that pairs well with the more dimly-lit Superdome.

No. 5: Pittsburgh Steelers

Talk about tradition. The Steelers' uniforms have remained largely unchanged throughout history, yet they are some of the best in the league. The black and yellow color scheme is one of the most recognizable in all of sports. The black provides an intimidation factor while the yellow gives the uniforms a modern feel. Even if the Steelers wanted to make changes to their uniform, there really would be no reason to do so.

No. 4: Las Vegas Raiders

The silver and black is quite possibly the most recognizable color scheme in sports. The colors are synonymous with a fanbase that often shows up to games in costumes and is unapologetic about doing so, even at away games. The Raiders' uniforms embody what it means to be a Raider. Toughness and grit are what define this franchise.

No. 3: Seattle Seahawks

Recency bias may be a factor for the reigning Super Bowl champions, but they have some of the best uniforms in the league. Perhaps the most attractive piece of their uniforms is the striping along the legs and collar that resembles feathers. The uniforms use a variety of patterns to fully draw the eye in. Additionally, the Seahawks' light-blue throwback uniforms send nostalgic chills down the spine of any 12.

No. 2: Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings make use of purple quite well and have done especially well in their switch to matte-purple home uniform helmets in recent seasons. These are some of the best uniforms in the league, and they pair quite well with the decorations on the Vikings' home field.

No. 1: Green Bay Packers

How could you not love the Packers' uniforms? The uniforms have remained largely unchanged over time, but they embody history for perhaps the NFL's most historic franchise. The green color scheme is synonymous with "Green Bay," and the yellow reminds fans of Wisconsin cheese. The uniforms are almost perfect and earn the top spot on this list.
