Casey Wilson's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Monday, 4/20/26. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
We have a small eight-game Monday slate, but there are some plays that stand out to me tonight. Tonight’s slate is very upfront for me as there is one pitcher that I think you have to get to and two stacks that are head and shoulders above the rest.
I will refer to my model throughout the article. If you have not had the chance to check it out, please do so, as I have made some major updates this weekend that I am sure you are going to love. My plays are solely based on numbers, and this model is the brain behind the operation.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/20/2026, with the slate starting at 6:40 p.m. ET on DraftKings and FanDuel. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.
Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Dylan Cease, SP - TOR ($9.8K DK/$10.4K FD)
I am going to start this article today simply by saying do not fade Dylan Cease tonight. Cease has the highest strikeout projection to date in my model, at 8.99. He has a 40.4% projected K% against this Angels lineup.
Cease has been great in his first campaign in a Blue Jays uniform. He has pitched to a 36.0% K%, 17.9% SwStr%, 1.26 WHIP, and has yet to allow a home run. This comes with a 27.3% Hard Hit%. His xK% is even better, at 37.4%.
The Angels this season against RHP have a 25.0% K%, .743OPS, and a 113 wRC+. There is some risk here with the power the Angels possess, but Cease is limiting hard contact and home runs. The Angels have a projected implied run total of 3.8 in my model.
I am all in on Cease tonight.
Top MLB DFS Stack for DraftKings, FanDuel
Los Angeles Dodgers (Model Projected IRT (Implied Run Total)- 9.5) vs. Jose Quintana
Yes, my model is projecting the Dodgers for 9.5 runs, and that is not wrong. I will admit it is very laughable, and we most likely won't see anything north of seven this season, but this matchup is screaming for the Dodgers to break the slate.
One of the reasons my model projects such a high total is that Quintana has an 8.13 xFIP, 54.5% Str%, 1.88 WHIP, and 64.0% FB% this season. When you combine that with the Dodgers having an .851 OPS and a 139 wRC+ this season, and a .992 OPS and a 175 wRC+ over their last 14 days, plus this game being held in Coors Field, you get 9.5 runs.
If you can find ways to pair the Dodgers and Cease, you are going to win all the money tonight.
Favorite Targets: Miguel Rojas, Andy Pages, Shohei Ohtani, Max Muncy, Kyle Tucker, Will Smith, Teoscar Hernandez, Alex Call
Top MLB DFS Hitter for DraftKings, FanDuel
Dominic Smith, 1B/OF - ATL ($3.6K DK/$3.2K FD)
I love getting a bit different here in my top hitter section, and tonight is no different with Dominic Smith as my top bat. Smith is red hot this season against RHP, slashing .395/.413/.721 with a 1.134 OPS and 4 HRs. Irvin has allowed a 22.6% Brl% and a 51.6% Hard Hit% this season to LHH. Smith is my first bat in lineups tonight to afford paying up for Cease.
