Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Vit Krejci (calf) has been ruled out for Friday's meeting with the Dallas Mavericks. This will mark his seventh consecutive absence due to a left calf contusion. Krejci was listed as doubtful on the initial injury report, so his return doesn't seem to be close. With him out of the rotation, Scott Henderson, Matisse Thybulle, and Kris Murray will be the primary bench contributors for the Blazers. Portland's second unit could be in for a fun night, facing a Dallas team that allows the sixth-most field-goal attempts in the league to opposing reserves.--Taavi Pailk
