Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe (back) will miss a third consecutive game on Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The team has downgraded his status from questionable to out. On a positive note, Edgecome participated in the pregame shootaround, which suggests he could be ready to return from his back injury soon. His next chance for a comeback will be a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. Quentin Grimes has taken on a bigger role during Edgecombe's absence, and his importance to the team will increase further on Monday night, with Tyrese Maxey (finger) out of the lineup.--Taavi Pailk
