Dylan Raiola Entering His Name into Transfer Portal
Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola (leg) intends to enter the transfer portal when it officially opens on January 2, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. Raiola suffered a broken fibula in the team's November 1 loss to USC, ending his season after nine games. Through his first 22 collegiate contests, he's tallied 4,819 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. The 20-year-old was the No. 7 overall player and No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class (247Sports) and was originally committed to Georgia before flipping to the Cornhuskers. Raiola was born in Hawaii and played his high school football in Texas, Arizona, and Georgia. He should draw plenty of interest in the transfer portal, though it will be a competitive market after DJ Lagway, Brendan Sorsby, and more have announced their intentions to leave their schools.
