Week 13 Monday Night Football Betting Odds
New York Giants @ New England Patriots
Spread: Patriots -7.5
Total: 46.5
This week's matchup features two teams headed in completely different directions when the Giants travel to the Patriots. The Patriots currently sit at 10-2 and have won a ridiculous nine games in a row. While their offense has performed admirably this season, their strength is their defense, as they currently allow the second-fewest rushing yards per game and the fifth-fewest points per game.
Meanwhile, the Giants come into Monday night's matchup sitting at a disappointing 2-10 and have lost six straight games. While their blitz has been strong this season, this has led to them getting gashed on the ground, as they allow the most rushing yards per game at just over 157 yards. Additionally, they allow nearly 28 points per game on defense, which ranks them third-worst in the league.
Week 13 Monday Night Football Betting Picks
The spread and total are rather interesting in this game, because I would expect a bit of a higher total when we are sitting with a 7.5-point spread. So, this either means we should look to attack one or the other, and I think the data points may help guide us here.
As aforementioned, the Patriots rank second-best in the league by allowing an average of just under 88 rushing yards per game. They have not been quite as strong in the secondary, however, as they currently rank in the middle of the pack in terms of passing yards per game allowed, with an average of 214 yards per game.
On the other side of the ball is the Giants offense, which has actually been pretty solid this season. Overall, they rank in the top half of the league in both rushing and passing yards per game. While their rushing offense has been a tad better, ranking ninth-best in the league in terms of yards per game, they also rank 13th-best in terms of passing yards per game by averaging 224 yards.
The same cannot be said for the Giants' defense, however, as they rank dead last in the league in terms of rushing yards per game allowed. This will likely be the route the Patriots take against the Giants, as New England has averaged 113 rushing yards per game and has two capable running backs in Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson.
This feels like a game where both teams can move the ball enough against the opposing defense to rack up some points, which makes a play on the total seem like the best route to take here. I may actually prefer to see Jameis Winston start in this game as he is a known gunslinger, but even if Jaxson Dart can go, I still prefer the over in this matchup.
The Pick: OVER 46.5 (-112, DraftKings)
Week 13 Monday Night Football Player Props
Wan'Dale Robinson OVER 59.5 receiving yards (-110, DraftKings)
I am not too concerned with whether or not Dart returns this for this game in terms of Robinson's props, as both quarterbacks have taken a liking to him. He has seen at least five targets in all but one game this season and has seen double-digit targets in three of his previous four games. Additionally, Robinson has posted 60+ receiving yards in two of his previous three games and four of his previous seven games.
The Giants figure to be trailing in this game as well, which could certainly help Robinson in this matchup. While New England has been stout against the run, they have struggled at times against wide receivers. Overall, they have allowed a total of nine wide receivers to post 60+ receiving yards on the season. They have also allowed a wide receiver to eclipse 60 receiving yards in three of their past four games.
Drake Maye OVER 19.5 rushing yards (-117, DraftKings)
Drake Maye has put together a spectacular season that has him in MVP conversations, which is more than many expected out of him heading into the 2025 season. He has been a very efficient passer, but he has also managed to post some solid rushing numbers. On the season, has rushed for a total of 307 yards, which has him ranked sixth among quarterbacks.
Maye has also had several solid rushing performances this season, and has eclipsed this total in six games, including last week against the Bengals, in which he carried the ball five times for 22 yards. The matchup here is ripe for a solid rushing performance yet again, as this Giants' blitz leaves holes for the quarterback to escape.
On the season, the Giants have allowed the most rushing yards to the quarterback position, allowing a total of 302 yards. They have also allowed four quarterbacks to eclipse this number. These include Jayden Daniels (68 yards), Justin Herbert (24 yards), Bo Nix (48 yards), and, most recently in Week 10, Caleb Williams ran for 63 yards.
This feels like the type of spot where Maye could continue to find success on the ground, either through designed runs or just pure chaos from the Giants' blitz, and has a great shot to get over this total.

Week 13 Monday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Bet
Hunter Henry ANYTIME touchdown (+200, DraftKings)
There are several solid options for touchdowns in this game, including either of the Giants wide receivers in Robinson (+230) and Darius Slayton (+320), that I could certainly get on board with, considering the Patriots have allowed 15 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers, but we are going to stick with the hot hand in Hunter Henry for the pusposes of this article.
Henry's odds sitting in the +200 range seem like pretty solid value considering he has scored five times this season. Just last week, he posted seven receptions for 115 receiving yards and a score. He has also seen at least one red zone target in all but four games this season and has been targeted in the red zone in three straight games and four of his previous five.
The Giants have also allowed tight ends to burn them in the red zone quite a bit, as they have allowed five total touchdowns to the position, which ranks them in the bottom half of the league in this category.
