We're headed to Week 8 of the fantasy football season, and fantasy managers who placed their hopes on injured QBs such as Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson are looking for solid streamers on the waiver wire.
In this article, we will focus on Jaxson Dart, Aaron Rodgers, and Joe Flacco. Rodgers and Flacco had a duel for the ages on Thursday Night Football, as the two former Super Bowl MVPs combined for 591 yards and seven touchdowns in a thrilling encounter. Meanwhile, Dart's three passing touchdowns and one rushing score weren't enough to prevent the Broncos from completing an incredible comeback.

Jaxson Dart Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups

Say what you want about Dart, but he has certainly injected some much-needed life into the New York Giants. The 25th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft had already defeated the Chargers and Eagles prior to Week 7, and was looking to add a third playoff team to his list of victims.

Dart had three passing touchdowns and a late rushing score, but an interception and multiple incompletions (Dart completed just 15/33 passes) helped the Broncos complete an improbable comeback.
He still finished as the QB3 and has been the overall QB4 since becoming the Giants' full-time starter. Despite his volatile style as a passer, Dart's rushing ability (178 rushing yards and three TDs in the last four games) makes him a great fantasy asset.
Aaron Rodgers Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups

Prior to arriving in Pittsburgh, Rodgers had attempted at least 31.7 passes per game in every single one of his seasons as a full-time starter. However, Rodgers is throwing the ball less than ever as a Steeler, averaging just 28.7 throws per game.

This lack of volume is helping Rodgers stay efficient even as he's nearing the age of 42. He is currently having his sixth-best season in passer rating (105.0) and his third-best completion percentage (68.6).
He has also finished twice in the fantasy top 10 so far, finishing as the QB7 in Weeks 1 and 7. He is also the only quarterback in the NFL who has two games with four or more touchdown passes so far this season.
Joe Flacco Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups

Among NFL QBs, no one can come back from the dead quite like Flacco. The former Comeback Player of the Year's return to Cleveland was short-lived, as the Bengals needed a new signal caller following Jake Browning's poor performances in Joe Burrow's absence.

In two games as a Bengal, Flacco has put up 561 yards and five touchdowns with a sparkling 100.0 passer rating without throwing any interceptions.
He has also averaged 22.4 fantasy points so far this season. Despite the Bengals' dreadful offensive line, Flacco will always have a chance to have big games with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins at his disposal.
