Our favorite high-upside waiver wire bench stashes, fantasy football sleepers for Week 8 of 2025. Waiver wire stashes include Jalen Coker, Christian Watson, Jaydon Blue, more.
With injuries and bye weeks in full swing, stashing high upside can be the difference between your team winning the championship or failing short in the postseason.
In last week's edition, I suggested you stash Chargers tight end Oronde Gadsden, who is now the most covered player on waiver wires. Let's beat the waiver wire again!
In this piece, we will take a look at some of the top stashes ahead of Week 8. Let's dive in!

High-Upside Waiver Wire Bench Stashes
Only players rostered in fewer than 30% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.
Jaydon Blue, RB - DAL
10% Rostered
Jaydon Blue saw his largest workload during this demanding victory over the Commanders. In this game, the rookie took seven carries for 29 yards and brought in his lone target for five yards. While his workload was not overly high as Javonte Williams dominated the backfield, the rookie is now the clear RB2, which makes him a priority target.
In addition, during this game, Blue logged 24% of the snaps. This was the first time Blue saw over 20% of the team's total snaps. Williams is on track to be a league-winner for those who drafted him in the double-digit rounds. If he were to miss time, Blue could carry similar upside playing in one of the sport's most potent offensive units.

Isaiah Davis, RB - NYJ
15% Rostered
The other primary "RB2" to stash is Isaiah Davis of the New York Jets. In Week 7, the Jets were without top wideout Garrett Wilson and leaned heavily on Breece Hall. Given his massive workload, Hall's injury risk is much higher. In fact, he took a hard hit in this game but was able to eventually return to the contest.
Davis logged a season-high 48% of the season in this game and was once again very involved in the passing game. Davis brought in two of his four targets for 22 yards. This was the second time in three games in which Davis saw four or more targets. While Davis has slightly more short-term upside than Blue, his upside would be just as high if Hall were to miss time or be traded as a contender before the deadline.
Jalen Coker, WR - CAR
5% Rostered
Jalen Coker made his long-awaited season debut on Sunday but was not overly involved. In fact, the slot wideout did not bring in any of his two targets. Despite this, managers should look to stay Coker ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Leading up to the regular season, the Panthers named Coker their primary slot receiver and even traded Adam Thielen to Minnesota, further indicating their trust in him.
Last season, as an undrafted rookie, Coker made an impact, catching 32 passes for 478 yards and two scores. Over his final 10 games, Coker averaged a solid 9.3 PPR points per game despite playing in one of the sport's worst offensive units.
Christian Watson, WR - GB
10% Rostered
Christian Watson was trending in the right direction, but could not turn the corner in time to suit up in Week 7. However, given his current status, Watson could be slated to debut in Week 8 when the Packers travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers.
While Romeo Doubs has begun to emerge as the team's true WR1, seeing 8.5 targets per game over his last two games, Watson would provide a much-needed deep threat to this offense. Rookie Matthew Golden is still developing, and Watson could immediately step into a starting role in Green Bay. Managers with an open IR spot should look to prioritize Watson this week.

Isaiah Likely, TE - BAL
5% Rostered
The final player we will look at in this piece is a tight end. The Ravens were off in Week 7, but Isaiah Likely could be poised for a massive opportunity this weekend. In Week 6, Likely caught just two passes but surprisingly logged 81% of the snaps while Mark Andrews saw 78%. Given Andrews' underwhelming play this season, it appears Likely could be making a strong case to take over starting duties.
With Lamar Jackson (hamstring) expected to return on Sunday, Likely could become the team's No. 2 option in the passing attack for the remainder of the campaign.
