Giants Sign Younghoe Koo to Practice Squad
Younghoe Koo to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Koo landed on the free-agent market early this year after the Falcons replaced him with Parker Romo. The 31-year-old will now get another chance in the NFC East with regular Giants kicker Graham Gano dealing with a groin injury that he suffered in pre-game warmups before the Sunday night loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Gano was considered questionable to play in Week 3 after his injury, but he eventually made a 25-yard field goal try in the fourth quarter. If Gano is unable to play in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Koo could be brought up to serve as the kicker on Sunday. Koo has an 85.8% success rate on FGs in his eight NFL seasons, but he went just 25-for-34 (73.5%) last year and missed one of his three attempts in Week 1 with Atlanta before being cut. For now, Koo should remain on the waiver wire in all fantasy leagues.
