Tyler Johnson's Expanded Role Doesn't Translate to Fantasy Value
Tyler Johnson will see an elevated snap share in his team's Week 3 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Johnson is set to operate as the Jets' second wideout again this Sunday, with teammate Josh Reynolds (hamstring) inactive for the second straight week with a hamstring injury. The sixth-year pro actually led the team in snaps at his position in Week 2, accruing one more than starter Garrett Wilson. However, he commanded a single target, failing to pull it in. Johnson may see a slight bump in volume this weekend with Tyrod Taylor calling signals for the team, and a fast-paced offense in the Buccaneers as their opposition. He'll be too difficult to trust for fantasy, though, as he's notched two total catches despite logging over 70% of New York's snaps (70.3%). Johnson is out of play as RotoBaller's PPR WR108 in Week 3.
