Pablo Lopez Set for Second Rehab Start Tuesday
Pablo Lopez (shoulder) is scheduled to make his second rehab start Tuesday for Triple-A St. Paul in Toledo. If all goes well, Lopez is expected to follow a standard buildup and reach four innings or roughly 65 pitches. The righty has been on the 60-day injured list since June 5 with a teres major strain in his right shoulder. He is expected to return in late August or early September for a struggling Twins team. The 29-year-old had been a major asset in the rotation prior to the injury, delivering a 2.82 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 61 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings pitched.
