Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones completed seven of his 11 passes for 101 yards in a 23-19 preseason loss to the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. Jones got the start and played the entire first quarter, although he was unable to lead the Colts on any scoring drives in the contest. He then stepped aside as the Colts turned to Anthony Richardson Sr. in the second quarter. The two signal-callers have been locked in a preseason battle to be the team's starting quarterback in Week 1 in what has appeared to be a close competition thus far. It appears that the team may be ready to name the winner soon, as head coach Shane Steichen told reporters after the game that he's "very close" to naming his Week 1 starter. If Jones ends up getting the call, he would set up as a high-end QB3 for fantasy purposes.--Matt Terelle
