Colorado Rockies right-hander German Marquez (shoulder) was pulled after just three innings in Sunday's 7-1 loss to the Minnesota Twins. He allowed three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out two across three innings. The 30-year-old is now (3-11) on the season and is believed to be dealing with right shoulder inflammation, an issue that reportedly began after his July 11 start and lingered through the All-Star break. Marquez could miss his next turn in the rotation, potentially forcing a bullpen game for Colorado. With a 5.67 ERA over 20 starts and just 73 strikeouts in 98 1/3 innings, Marquez should be avoided in all fantasy formats, along with the rest of the Rockies' rotation.--Shaun Albin
