Ogbo Okoronkwo Cut Loose By Browns
The Cleveland Browns released defensive lineman Ogbo Okoronkwo on Thursday, according to NFL.com. The veteran was set to enter the final year of his three-year, $19 million contract in 2025 but is now set to hit free agency. In 30 games as a Brown, the Oklahoma product tallied 52 tackles, 7.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one pass deflection, and 16 run stuffs. He began his career with the Los Angeles Rams after being selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft before a one-year stint with the Houston Texans in 2022. Defensive line depth is key at this level, so there should be plenty of suitors for his services.
