T.J. McFarland Starts Rehab Assignment
T.J. McFarland (groin) started a minor-league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Single-A Stockton as he continues to rehab from a left-groin strain that landed him on the 15-day injured list back on May 13. Barring a setback on his rehab assignment, McFarland figures to be back with the A's bullpen in mid-June. In an inning of work on Tuesday, the 35-year-old southpaw gave up a run. McFarland will be looking to be much better once he returns to the big leagues, as he allowed six earned runs on 15 hits while walking three and striking out four in 10 1/3 innings out of the bullpen before his trip to the IL. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore McFarland when he's reinstated.
