Logan O'Hoppe Goes Yard Twice In Angels' Win
Logan O'Hoppe had a pair of home runs in the Halos' 10-5 win on Wednesday night. The 25-year-old backstop went 2-for-4 with a walk, three runs scored, and three RBI. His first home run was a two-run shot in the second inning, and his second was a solo shot in the fourth. Both blasts came off lefty JP Sears, and O'Hoppe is now hitting .364 against southpaws this season with three of his 13 homers on that side of the split. Overall, O'Hoppe is up to .270 on the year with 13 homers and a .363 wOBA. He's on pace for a career year and has been one of the most productive hitters at a thin catcher position. He's definitely mixed-league material and a strong pickup if available.
