Before the month ended, he injured his hamstring and didn't see the field again. Media reports and statements from general manager Omar Khan point to the Steelers relying more on Wilson in year two. While George Pickens was dealt to Dallas, DK Metcalf takes over the alpha role. Calvin Austin III and Robert Woods are other target competitors. Woods will see some playing time as a blocker, but his talents have declined since his prime Los Angeles days. If Wilson gets the opportunity, it's a murky quarterback situation.
