Stephan Jaeger has had an up-and-down start to the season with a T36 and a T3 in his first two events, followed by a missed cut at the Farmers Insurance Open. He now shifts his focus to Pebble Beach, a course he's played four times in his career. His results there have been less than impressive, with finishes of T43 (2018), missed cuts (2019, 2022), and a T71 in 2024. Given the short length of Pebble Beach, approach play will be key to success in this stacked field, but Jaeger ranked just 120th in strokes gained on approach last season. His proximity from the 100-150 yard range (where 37.6% of approach shots at Pebble Beach come from) is 22.7 feet, ranking him in the 53rd percentile. Although his price tag is an intriguing $6,700 on DraftKings, fantasy managers may want to pass on Jaeger this week.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller
