DraftKings Main CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (11/16/24)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Saturday's Main Slate (11/16/24). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We only have two more weekends after this of wall-to-wall college football. Enjoy it while you can! We have some interesting games today. The early window isn't very busy with only four games, but there are a couple of important ones. Tulane heads up to Maryland to take on the Navy. Texas heads to Fayetteville for the first time in three years and the first time as a conference opponent since 1989. Utah is in Boulder to face the Ralphies. The last one in the early window is a big one with Clemson heading up to Pitt to take on the Panthers.

The afternoon opens out west with Syracuse facing Cal. LSU heads to the Swamp to take on the Gators. Boston College heads to Dallas to face SMU. Louisville is also in the Bay Area to face Stanford. Virginia heads to South Bend to take on the Irish. Penn State is also in Indiana to take on Purdue. Baylor heads to Morgantown to take on West Virginia.

We end this in L.A. with Nebraska in town to take on USC.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/16/24, locking at noon EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Riley Leonard, Notre Dame ($9.5K)

Running quarterbacks are cheat codes for DFS as well. Much has been made about Leonard not throwing many deep balls this year. It could be the offense. It could be the lack of playmaking receivers. It might even be that the Irish are playing possum.

They don't need him to do that because they still win big. The rushing touchdowns and solid passing stats can be a deadly combination in DFS.

Cade Klubnik, Clemson ($8.6K)

Even in Klubnik's worst game (aside from Georgia), he still put up 17.42 DraftKings points. The Pitt defense has been solid, but if the Panthers don't have Eli Holstein to help the offense move the ball, they are toast.

Nate Yarnell has been around too long to still make the mistakes that he made last weekend. There's a chance that Klubnik might not have to do much, but Clemson has been in several situations like that this season and he still finished comfortably over 20 DraftKings points.

Fernando Mendoza, California ($7.2K)

This could be a tight game, which would mean a lot of attempts for Mendoza again. He has thrown at least 36 passes in each of the last four games and six of the nine games this season. Mendoza is coming off a career-best 385 passing yards and 71.4% completions against Wake last week. I expect him to back that up with another strong game today.

Darian Mensah, Tulane ($5.8K)

Mensah isn't going to put up eye-popping numbers, but he is efficient and doesn't make many mistakes. That's going to be enough against the Navy. The Wave just needs Mensah to take care of the ball and keep the offense moving. He can do that and put up a serviceable score.

Also consider: Shedeur Sanders, Colorado ($9.7K); Sawyer Robertson, Baylor ($8.7K); Tyler Shough, Louisville ($7.9K); Drew Allar, Penn State ($7K); Grayson James, Boston College ($6.7K); DJ Lagway, Florida ($5.4K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Makhi Hughes, Tulane ($7.6K)

It's going to be tough sledding for Hughes out there today, but the Navy is allowing 156.33 rushing yards per game this year. That's high for them. On top of that, Hughes has five straight games over 100 rushing yards. He should hit that mark again today. The best part? Hughes has scored at least once in all five of those games.

Phil Mafah, Clemson ($7.3K)

Mafah had another high-volume game against the Hokies last week. He had 27 touches in the win as Clemson continues to ride Mafah. The Tigers need to win out and win the ACC title game. Mafah and Klubnik look like they're on a mission. Expect another high-volume game out of Mafah today.

Bryson Washington, Baylor ($6.4K)

The freshman is taking the Big 12 (14) by storm. Washington has 390 rushing yards and six touchdowns to go with five receptions for another 46 yards in three games since taking the starting job. He's too cheap here. Washington should be in for another big game against West Virginia today.

Jadan Baugh, Florida ($3.5K)

Baugh has 258 rushing yards on 58 carries with six touchdowns in his first three games as a starter. Those numbers don't really jump off the page, but those were against Kentucky, Georgia, and Texas -- three of the strongest run defenses in the conference. Things get a little easier for Baugh against LSU. He's money at this price!

Also consider: Brashard Smith, SMU ($8.8K); LeQuint Allen, Syracuse ($8.6K); Isaac Brown, Louisville ($6.7K); Jerrick Gibson, Texas ($5.3K); Isaiah Augustave, Colorado ($3.6K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Travis Hunter, Colorado ($9.7K)

Hunter continues to put up strong numbers. The Utah defense is going to struggle with the offense likely having trouble moving the ball. The Utes are down to their fourth-string quarterback (and maybe their fifth).

Heisman Trophies are a big deal and a big recruiting draw. Colorado is going to keep feeding Hunter in an effort to get him over the hump and run down Boise State's Ashton Jeanty.

Jackson Meeks, Syracuse ($6.2K)

The Orange have a lot of weapons in the passing game, so it can be hard to predict which one will make the biggest impact from week to week. Meeks has at least five receptions in each of the last six games. He's not always the leader in yardage, but those extra points for receptions come in handy. Now, if he could find the end zone...

Makai Lemon, USC ($5K)

Lemon had become the favorite target of Miller Moss over the last month. With Jordan Maiava now taking snaps that could change. I wouldn't think it would, but who knows? Who really knows how long the leash is on Maiava either?

I'll stick with Lemon. He has 26 receptions for 366 yards and two touchdowns in the last four games. That's big-time production at a very low price.

Tobias Merriweather, California ($4.8K)

Merriweather looked really good in his season debut against Wake with six receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown. Hit fit in seamlessly with Mendoza and the rest of the offense. Merriweather could be the consistent playmaker at receiver that Cal has been missing since J. Michael Sturdivant transferred to UCLA two years ago.

Also consider: Ja'Corey Brooks, Louisville ($7.7K); Andrew Armstrong, Arkansas ($6.9K); Oronde Gadsden II, Syracuse ($5.4K); Elic Ayomanor, Stanford ($5.2K); Jack Endries, California ($4.7K); Elijhah Badger, Florida ($4.1K); Hudson Clement, West Virginia

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Louisville

The Stanford defense is terrible. The pricing on Shough, Brown, and Brooks might be high enough to scare some off, but not be. I'll run this three-man stack a few times in tournaments today.

Florida

This one will come with low ownership and a very affordable price. Lagway, Baugh, and Badger will only set you back $14K. This is a tournament-only play, but it allows so many stars alongside them.

Also consider: Cal, Notre Dame, Baylor
