The Carolina Panthers have been missing wide receiver Adam Thielen, who has been out with a hamstring injury since Week 3.

Will Adam Thielen Start for the Panthers When He Returns?
Thielen is expected to return to a central role for Carolina when he returns. He brought in eight receptions for 109 yards and a score in the three games he played this season.
The 34-year-old has proved to be a dependable target, especially with his ability to make plays in the red zone, which the Panthers need as they continue to develop their passing game.
Panthers WR Xavier Legette, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a toe injury, is expected to play vs Saints, per source.

The trade of Diontae Johnson to the Baltimore Ravens has further added opportunities for Thielen, who brings a veteran presence that rookies like Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker can learn from.
