CBB DFS: Afternoon DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/17/24)

Hunter Dickinson - Kevin McCullar Jr. - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Afternoon DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/17/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have a nice, loaded Saturday with plenty of college basketball games to keep us busy. DraftKings has split the day up into three slates, all with at least nine games. The afternoon slate has another dozen games with some big ones in store for us. South Carolina hosts LSU in the warm-up before the real action begins at 4 p.m.

Oklahoma tries to stop their losing skid to Kansas in their last regular season meeting, this time in Norman. Cincinnati heads down to Orlando to take on UCF. Miami climbs Chestnut Hill to face the Eagles. Illinois heads to College Park to take on the Terps. Syracuse heads to Atlanta to take on the Bees. Utah State is in Fort Collins to take on the Rams. Kentucky heads to Auburn to take on the Tigers. Vanderbilt heads up I-40 to Knoxville to take on the Vols. Baylor heads into the mountains of West Virginia. Stanford is in Pullman to take on the Cougars. We close this slate in Pittsburgh with Louisville in town.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/17/24, starting at 3:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($9.1K)

Knecht isn't as ridiculously hot from the floor as he was in January, but he is still taking double-digit shots and hitting around half of them. Kentucky was the only team to hold him under 35 DraftKings points since Mississippi on January 6. He nuked Vandy for 51 DraftKings points in the first meeting, pouring in 32 actual points. I wouldn't count on 50 again, but 40 seems imminent.

Myles Rice, Washington State ($7.6K)

Rice has scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games along with his usual stellar peripheral stats. Rice had the best game of his young career against Stanford in the first meeting, putting up 61 DraftKings points on the Tree in Palo Alto. It would be unreasonable to expect that again, but it speaks to the kind of ceiling that Rice has. That's very enticing at this price point.

Ty-Laur Johnson, Louisville ($6.6K)

Johnson cracked the starting lineup four games ago and he has done nothing but produce. He has averaged 15 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 0.5 blocks, and 2.3 steals in those four games. That comes out to roughly 34 DraftKings points per game. Johnson is still very underpriced for the numbers he is putting up, especially in the assist column.

Jizzle James, Cincinnati ($4.4K)

James has scored 26 points off the bench over the last two games where scoring was at a premium against Houston and Iowa State. If he can score against those two teams, he should be able to do it against anyone. His minutes have fluctuated off the Cincinnati bench during his freshman season, but it's going to be hard to ignore his last two games. James is trending upward and the Bearcats find themselves in another game where scoring may be at a premium again tonight.

Also consider: Jahmir Young, Maryland ($8.3K); Darius Brown II, Utah State ($8K); Marcus Domask, Illinois ($7.3K); Dan Skillings Jr., Cincinnati ($6.9K); Ishmael Leggett, Pittsburgh ($6.7K); J.J. Starling, Syracuse ($6.2K); Kyshawn George, Miami ($5.6K); Josiah Strong, Colorado State ($5.1K); Antwann Jones, Central Florida ($4.8K); Le'Tre Darthard, Oklahoma ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Maxime Raynaud, Stanford ($8.8K)

Raynaud just missed his fourth straight game with 20 points with 19 against Washington, but he made up for it with 16 rebounds. Raynaud has only been under 32 DraftKings points once in the last 10 games. He made his presence felt in the first meeting against the Cougars with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He has recorded a double-double in seven of the last 10 games. He is carrying the Cardinal right now and might do the same for your DFS lineup.

Isaac Jones, Washington State ($7.3K)

Jones has been very efficient in the field of late. He has scored in double figures in 11 straight games since scoring a single point against Oregon State on January 4. It feels like a year ago instead of a month ago. Jones has scored at least 20 points five times since then and has at least seven rebounds in all but one of those games. If he puts up another 34.25 DraftKings points against Stanford, I'll be happy with that output again.

Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($6.1K)

Ndongo got himself into a bit of foul trouble against Notre Dame this week, but he still managed 23.75 DraftKings points in 27 minutes. His skill set is impressive, but fouls have been an issue lately for Ndongo. He has fouled out twice in the last four games and had four fouls in the last game. The game before that, he left with a head injury against Carolina. Ndongo hasn't been the force that he was in December and January, but the talent hasn't gone anywhere. Ndongo just hasn't played as many minutes. I'm still betting on the talent.

Ibrahima Sacko, Georgia Tech ($4K)

Sacko led the Bees in scoring against Notre Dame with 13 bench points on Wednesday. That was more points than he had scored in his previous eight games combined. Sacko has played sparingly in his freshman season, but his work on the boards has given him more playing time lately. It's too early to call this a trend, but there's no reason Sacko and Ndongo can't co-exist. At the very least, Sacko's last two games should give him decent minutes against the Orange.

Also consider: Great Osobor, Utah State ($8.9K); Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($8.6K); Julian Reese, Maryland ($8.3K); Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina ($7.9K); Blake Hinson, Pittsburgh ($7.4K); Donta Scott, Maryland ($6.3K); Tyrell Ward, LSU ($5.1K); Zvonimir Ivisic, Kentucky ($4.8K); Jamille Reynolds, Cincinnati ($4.4K); Omar Payne, Central Florida ($4.2K)
